Security First Mortgage Funding, LLC is a subsidiary of Millbury Federal Credit Union and is a successful mortgage company throughout MA, CT & RI. We are currently seeking an experienced loan processing professional for our growing company. We offer strong portfolio lending products and Secondary Marketing products that we sell to our Investors.   Qualified candidates will have strong compliance skills and at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience processing loans to meet lender guidelines and QC standards.

Qualifications:
•     Have experience running an LOS platform, integration of existing and new programs to increase efficiency.
•     Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
•     Effectively work with the originations and closing department to manage the company pipeline.
•     Possess excellent communication skills with fellow staff members, borrowers and investors to deliver outstanding customer service.
•     Experience with MERS and NMLS for Reporting.
•     Proficient in the use of EXCEL and WORD and other systems related to mortgage closing, documentation, funding and post-closing procedures.

Senior Member Service Representative

Location: Float Position for Millbury & Worcester Full-time with rotating Saturday schedule.

Millbury Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, detail orientated Sr. MSR for the Millbury Office. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager, or in the absence of the Branch Manager, the position reports to the Assistant Manager.

Areas of Responsibility:
The position of Sr. MSR is responsible for opening and closing Money Market, CD's, checking, Debit/ATM cards, IRA's, safety deposit boxes, wire transfers, teller transactions including official checks and PMO's, and loan application in-take as well as referrals and consultative sales. Also performs other tasks as required, related to credit union member service.

The Sr. MSR role is to be available to members in a timely manner; behave professionally and courteously in all circumstances. Communicates professionally both in writing and verbally and presents a professional image at all times. Consultative sales and referrals; Knowledge of credit union products and services offered. Possesses good problem solving skills; able to ask questions to gain full understanding of and research member inquiries and responds promptly. Adheres to credit union policy, federal and state law and regulation. Opens retail deposit accounts, post entries, renews and disburses according to credit union policy and truth and savings regulations. Assist as teller and with teller proof when necessary; cross-trained as back-up to the teller supervisor. File, maintain, and store records according to the record retention system. Responsible for following opening and closing procedures in accordance with established security procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

A Senior MSR would additionally be required to supervise, stand in at manager’s absence, professionally motivate co-workers and lead by positive example. Sr. MSR requires also a proven ability to independently supervise personnel and function as management.

Qualifications:
For Sr. MSR, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as an MSR, proven supervisory ability and a Associate / Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Good written and verbal communication skills; proficient Microsoft office suite and adding machine skills. In addition the ability to function under pressure as a team player and exhibit knowledge of credit union/banking products and regulations is crucial in this role.

Teller / Master Teller

Location: Millbury, MA
Description: Full-time Teller; 35-40 hours per week with rotating Saturday schedule.

Areas of Responsibility:
Reports to the Branch Manager or in their absence the Assistant or Senior MSR, but is primarily supervised by the Teller Supervisor. Responsible for accurately handling cash, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, MCU other services provided such as Money Orders, MCU Official Checks and travelers checks; verifying a member’s identity and proper ownership of accounts and checks, understanding and properly implementing funds verification and availability procedures, complying with BSA requirements and reconciling cash and daily transactions and completing other duties as assigned, including but not limited to ATM proof, coin machine, safe deposit access, referral goals and signature card filing.

Essential Functions and Activities:
• Accurately handles cash, posts deposits, withdrawals, payments, checks and other monetary services transactions.
• Verifies ownership of accounts and checks accepted, availability of funds, and placement of proper check holds.
• Displays a high level of confidentiality and tact
• Courteous and friendly to members and coworkers alike; neat and well groomed appearance; punctual.
• Willingness to engage members in consultative conversation and refer appropriate products.
• Reconciles cash and daily work to computer totals. Assists with branch proof.
• Accountable to all relevant security, BSA, retail and related policy and procedure as required in the scope of the job including SAR, OFAC, CTR and confidentiality; other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience:
• Previous Teller Experience Preferred, some previous cash handling experience is necessary
• Internal applicants must have a minimum of 6 months in present position and be in good standing
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, unless hired through a student internship.
• Typing and adding machine skills
• Well organized, detail oriented, flexible, able to effectively handle stress and to multitask.
• Willingness to function as part of a team and accept additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Normal physical requirements including repetitive motion, prolonged stationary standing and ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs. Able to use typewriter, keyboard, adding machine and PC.

Work schedule:
35-40 hours per week: Monday - Friday & Saturday- rotating 8:30AM-12:15PM. Schedule subject to change.

Assistant Branch Manager

Millbury Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated, organized, time-flexible individual with 3 or more years of direct supervisory experience, in banking, to assist the supervision of day to day administrative and operational functions of the office and teller/MSR personnel; generate individual sales/referrals and coach staff to the same; assist in hiring, train and motivate staff, evaluate performance of assigned employees, assist with staff meetings; represent the credit union at external events such as Expos and Business After Hours as necessary; and, in the absence of the Branch Manager, assume the responsibility of managing the branch.

A qualified applicant must have an Associates Degree or higher; demonstrate an ability to effectively exercise authority, handle difficult situations in a calm, autonomous and professional manner, lead and supervise diverse personalities, define problems, collect data, establish facts, retain long and short term information and draw valid conclusions, multitask, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. They should have a general understanding of the principals of banking and legal papers such as death certificates, powers of attorney, trust documents and summons; and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Normal physical requirements include, but are not limited to the ability to perform repetitive motion and use keyboard, adding machine, PC and like machinery, sitting and prolonged standing and ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs.

This position is a full-time, exempt position with a minimum of two Saturdays worked per month and offers full benefits.
